The Fourth Annual Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Islamic Studies Conference entitled, Expressions of Islam in Contemporary African American Communities will host speakers exploring and highlighting the varied experience of African American Muslims in the United States. The conference will not only showcase research on African American Muslims by leading academics, but will also feature contemporary artists, using various media, who speak directly to the subject through their work. Join us on April 7 and 8, 2012, in the Thompson Room at the Harvard University Barker Center. This event is free and open to the public.
